You'll get equivalent performance from both, it just depends what is on the board that you prefer. I'd go for the gigabyte since you can use two 16x PCIe at once, as well as higher ram spec, and it looks like a decent overclocking board.

Asus P5BV/ SAS Intel Mainboard ive heard good issues from my associates approximately this board and its have been given ddr2 ram slots so which you would be able to shop your present day ram im assuming yet its honest costly ($523) or you may decide for some thing extra reasonable like the Asus P5Q-E this is a huge board ive had mine for approximately 6 months and couldnt be happier and that is alot extra reasonable ($270) then you somewhat would desire to spend approximately $225 on a gts 250 and you wont have any problems as long as your cpu and ram can shop up. yet those 2 will do your gaming wonders (: stable good fortune and that i'm hoping ive helped by some skill, zac
