I am using ASUS P5RD1 VM series motherboard and Samsung HD080HJ SATA HDD 80 GB.
My problem is that when i do switch on my PC it detects my DVD-ROM, CD-ROM and Hard disk but it does not shows it in Bios setup and during installation of Windows XP SP II it shows
"Setup did not find any hard disk drives installed in your computer."
In starting(when i Switch ON my PC) it shows DVD-ROM as Primary Master and CD-ROM as Primary Slave & SATA HDD as
3rd Master..IDE Hard Disk and it shows DVD-ROM and CD-ROM same as Primary Master and Primary Slave in the Bios Setup but did not shows any Hard Disk Drives. Moreover, SATA HDD is working properly on another PC and i am using only one SATA Hard disk drive in my PC.
I had checked it with both options in Bios Setup as "SATA Controller enabled/disabled".

Kindly suggest me with some solution to come out from this problem.

dude, you are really doing your first pc assembly or what..

to help you, big blue port goes as ide port, if your cd or dvd rom is ide, put it in blue port.

red ports are sata and black ports are raid.

plug in that samsung hard disk to red sata port under that black one..

in bios it should show as 1 ide master dvd writer cd rom as slave,

samsung hdd as one more master whatever its number is..

and for heaven's sake press f5 and save settings. restore bios to its defaults!!

Olive oil is a sturdy moisturizer for the hair, yet olive oil at very warm temperature receives damaged therefore ensuing in little to no income until eventually u a twin of the flavor of deep fried... merely kidin. So my advice is heating it on the range for some seconds. I positioned some better virgin organic and organic olive oil in a spoon and position it over the flame for some seconds adequate to get it quite warmth. IMHO, warming in a microwave will damage the oil. Coconut oil on the different hand handles warmth ok.

you hooked them up wrong.

plug your hdd into the slot where your dvd rom is

and change the plug for your cdrom to your dvd rom and all should work.
