I just purchased a second hand iMac but when opening any web browser whether it be safari chrome or Firefox any images or videos will not load completely. I use internet to watch videos a lot especially on YouTube as it helps with my coursework in college so I need these to work or the Mac is pointless. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Now you know you've been had if you were told it can do anything required by today's computer. Macs have been using PC hardware architecture for a decade now, a G5 predates that. Your only hope to bring that to a degree of modernity is to load Linux that's compiled for Power hardware and I won't hold any breath on doing that, early 201x is probably end of road for that.

Hopefully you paid for it like $40 or less, I paid for my early Core 1 Duo Mac last year for $80.

And now you know why it was for sale!

If you have an iMac using the G5 processor then you have a Mac that is at least 11 years old. The last Mac with a G5 was built in 2006. First thing is to update Flash Player and Java. If that does not work then download and install Firefox and try using it.
