CCleaner is a freeware system optimization and privacy tool. It removes unused files from your system - allowing Windows to run faster and freeing up valuable hard disk space. It also cleans traces of your online activities such as your Internet history. CCleaner also fixes your registry. But the best part is that it's fast (normally taking less than a second to run) and contains NO Spyware or Adware.

You can download cleaner for free here http://bit.ly/1kGZmoH

I everything else on your computer is fast but your browsing is slow, first thing I'd check is your firewall. Often times firewalls are odd in the way they block things and you will experience things like slowdowns, pages loading halfway, and unloaded images which leave empty boxes with little X's in the corner. The BSOD doesnt really fit the criteria though, if you post the error # im sure someone would be willing to tell you what it is, or if ya email it to me or something I will look it up for you.

The first thing I would check is the Master Boot Records MBR using MBRCheck or something similar because if these are corrupt, damaged or faked you will either have to repair or reinstall the operating system. Antimalware stuff is a waste of time because they can't repair the MBR, only the original system operating disc can do this. A format and reinstall could also help to identify if this is software or hardware related problem. An MBR check is quick, easy, free and only takes a few minutes to do.

First thing to check is that you do not have spyware. This will often slow the browsing. Download the free scanner from http://malwabytes.org and run the full scan. If you are using Internet Explorer it may not be fully updated, or your OS is not fully updated to match the version you have. Most other browsers do not suffer that problem. Uninstall ALL toolbars apart from Google, Yahoo or MSN/Live, most other toolbars are so busy telling the rest of the world what sites you are visiting they delay you seriously.

Make sure you have the latest version, latest flash, etc...

If using firefox you might consider exporting your favorites and uninstalling and then manually deleting the folder in AppData... then reinstalling clean. If you have antivirus browser plugins turn them off (they are garbage)

Also you should probably scan for malware with malwarebytes.org, lavasoft adaware, or spybot S&D or a combination of the above.

Does it happen in Google Chrome? If it's only firefox there is something called hardware acceleration in the browser options.. if you find yourself trying to scroll and it locks up for half a second try turning this off. it's a known bug in firefox. You should be using Firefox 13 btw.

If other browser works fine, then it your browser's problem.

If all the browsers have the same situation, it maybe the problem if your DNS

You gave 'not nuff' info, why?

Not nuff RAM.

Clear your browsing history.

Run a maintenance utility like Ccleaner.

Get more RAM.

Did I mention - get more RAM?

All I can suggest is to run Ccleaner http://www.piriform.com/CCLEANER , malwarebytes http://www.malwarebytes.org/products/malwarebytes_free and superantispyware http://download.cnet.com/SuperAntiSpyware-Free-Edition/3000-8022_4-10523889.html?tag=mncol;2

These are programs that I use on my personal computer all the time and on my clients.

Superantispyware will run in the background after it is open so just remember to close it down after a scan. malwarebytes will not, and same with Ccleaner.

Try to reinstall it and if it happened again try to defrag your hard drive and clean your registry ...
