I have two nvidia geforce 7900 GT graphic crads and have enabled the SLI mode in the nvidia control panel. In the SLI performance mode i dn have the choice to choose multiple GPU the only options avail are: single gpu, force split frame rendering, foce alternate rendering 1 and 2.
I have the latest driver installed for the cards and the nforce chipset on the mainboard.OS is XP pro and Direct X 9.
What can i do to set it for multiple gpus how can i get that enabled?

When you enable SLI, the system will choose by default, how to render the image. If you force split, or alternate frames, your SLI will not function well with games that have been profiled for SLI. I suggest you read up a bit more about how SLI works before you change the settings. In single GPU operation, your primary card will be providing the image to the monitor while the other card takes a portion of the workload. If you use split frames, or miltiple GPU settings, this will simply make each card produce alterante frames in even or odd numbers. Not the best setting for an SLI system.

force split frame rendering seems like a logical choice.
