Casing: Check your existing motherboard's manual to see if its form factor (shape) eg MATX, ATX,UATX. then see if the casing you want supports the same form factor too. If it does you can fit ur pc in that case

RAM: Open your case and take out the existing RAm module then take it to a computer store and ask for a 1GB module of the same RAM stick.

Processor: Check your motherboard manufacturer's website for info as to which processors ut supports. then just buy the processor you want from that list and hav esomeone install it for you.

NOTE: A 2.0GHz Dual core processor will be faster than a 3.5GHz single core, A 2.0Ghz quad core will b alot faster than a 2.5GHz dual core processor. So Ghz is not all that matters.

Well you should check you motherboard too see what kind of Ram does it support "Ex SDR DDR DDR1 DDR2etc" and the same for the processor ex some computers cannot support "pentium 4 etc.

So just get the type of your motherboard and check what kind of ram processor does it support if you didn't lose the book that came with your motherboard you can find it there

Hope i Helped

well you can not upgrade your processor on dell dimension to 3.2 Ghz and as for RAM tis type is SDRAM which is pretty outdated now however you can upgrade your RAM to max 1 GB so yes SDRAM 1 GB is ok but 3.2 ghz processor will not work
