OK guys please help me out here, I'm really confused. I want a system that can play games like GTA IV, Crysis, the like on decent settings.

The main thing I don't know much about is Graphic Cards so please tell me a good one with a REASONABLE price. Also, I've heard about these cards:

4870x2's crossfire

GeForce GTX 260

Are they good? Which one is better? Also, are the outdated? If yes, what would be a good choice today? :)

I had a 4870x2 , no games used it fully and used alot of power.

The gtx 260 runs hot and uses alot of power.

Go with one of these 6870 / 6950 / gtx 560ti .

All will 99% of games at max settings 1920x1080.

The 6870 is a great card for its price and is worth the extra few dollors over the 6850.

each and every so often that's wiser to in basic terms improve, yet on your case the computing device sounds like that's extremely previous. in basic terms 512 ram with a 40gig not hardship-free tension. better than probably the not hardship-free tension connections are IDE and you will not locate a sparkling not hardship-free tension with IDE connections, they have all long gone to SATA. no remember if that's a attractiveness type computing device are you able to offer me the call and type and that i will seek for the specs for you. Or in case you prefer i will post the areas to an extremely stable device build for style of $680. enable me understand what you prefer to do?

well atleast have 4 gigs of ram and a good processor dual core and up frequency at least 2.8ghz

then a nice hd 6870 will max out anything u throw at it. I have a hd5750 and i maxed out gta with an average of 47fps smooth gameplay soo you will atleast get more that mine played crysis 1 and 2 metro 2033 trust me either a 6870 or a 6850 anyway if you are on a budget try this still will work -

budget-

depends on your budget but these are my recommendations going from cheapest to the most expensive

hd 5770 #7

hd 5830 #6

gtx 460 #4

hd 6850 #5

hd 6870 #3

gtx 560ti #2

hd 6950 #1

and the numbers on the right ranks them performance wise, and also do not go lower than the 5770 is you want to run games like crysis on DECENT graphics
