Gaming computer question?

Do you think i could get a better gaming computer buy building one? Or spending about $1000 on one? Games I'll be playing are:
TF2
Minecraft
Any Steam game
etc.

Computer for $600-700 like ones below will be good enough, no need to worry about building anything if you have never done it before. Games you have listed do not require much and will be handled by those 2 without problems

Building dude. And those games are fairly easy to run, so it will not be too difficult

and if you have a higher budget, you could add some extras that would make it even faster, such as an ssd drive or a faster graphics card to play more demanding games at a high setting

You don't need a 1,000$ computer to run those games but, yes building would be much better
