Blank startup (only wallpaper shown without any icon or taskbar)?

Please help me. My laptop got blank startup (only wallpaper shown without any icon or taskbar). It can't be shut down though

This occasionally happens. Do the following:



1. Press Ctrl-Alt-Delete.

2. If you see a button that says 'Run...' click that and goto step 5.

3. Click 'Task Manager'

4. Click 'File' then 'New Task (Run..)'

5. Type "explorer.exe" without the quotes and hit enter.



That should complete your boot-up process.

Windows explorer has not started up (it probably failed or something). Press Ctrl+Alt+Delete, if Windows Security pops up, press 'Task Manager'. If not, Windows Task manager opens and it does also after pressing 'Task Manager'. Press 'New Task...' and type exactly: 'explorer.exe' and press 'OK'. If it explorers your My Documents folder, hold your power button in until your PC turns off, then retry. If it works how it should, the taskbar will show and your icons along with it.

I had this difficulty, too. merely observed wallpaper and a cursor. Ctrl-Alt-Del did no longer something. 5 rapid Shifts did no longer something. staggering-click reported the menu with portraits suggestions, demonstrate selection, instruments, customize, etc. i ultimately found out the priority. I even have 2 video demonstrate gadgets, and homestead windows for some reason switched my substantial and Secondary reflects in the time of reboots. Unbeknownst to me, i substitute into now gazing my Secondary demonstrate. My different video demonstrate (my television) is in many situations became off, so it wasn t in any respect glaring what substitute into occurring! interior the demonstrate selection window I made the different video demonstrate my substantial video demonstrate and then activity bar, initiate button, icons, etc. decrease back.
