It depends on your situation. I suggest that you run Task Manager and check how much RAM you are using in the Performance tab. For the best results, while WoW is running, minimize the game and open task manager. If it indicates that you are using more than 1 GB of RAM, you definitely need to upgrade your RAM.

About your graphic card, you should upgrade it only if your RAM is already enough and you have confirmed that the graphic card is the main problem.

My friend why WoW beats easily games like everquest 2 and such is it can run on low specs.

I started this game on a athlon 2400 512mb ram and a old geforce 4200 and it ran on medium setting fine .

Missing key piece-what type of vid card currently?

If this is onboard vid then yes, get vid card- RAM can wait...but my motto is also you can never have too much RAM.

1gb ram is probably plenty, with a decent graphics card it should play wow fine.
