Hi,

I am too trying to upgrade my DELL DIMENSION 2400.

The Maximum Memory supported by the motherboard is 2GB (2X1GB).

==========================================

You can choose from one of these three speeds :

==========================================

Dell Dimension 2400 (800MHz Front Side Bus) Memory PC3200

Dell Dimension 2400 (533MHz Front Side Bus) Memory PC2700

Dell Dimension 2400 (400MHz Front Side Bus) Memory PC2100

You may also look at the current memory in your system to match the speed.

Best of Luck with upgrade!

I have the same PC as yours. My PC came with XP Home, After XP's support ended I wanted to upgrade to Windows 7 Home Premium but it would not work until I upgraded the memory. I upgraded my RAM memory to 2GB (1GB x 2 slots). It works great now, I am getting ready to upgrade my Graphic Card so that I can use Google Earth. The Graphic Card is a dedicated card on the mother board so I am going to add a PCI Graphic Card. I have 2 extra slots.

I hope this helps.
