So guys , I recently bought a new PC . Its Dell Vostro 3268 . It comes with i3 7th gen 7100 processor . I searched for it and found the GPU it carries is Intel HD 630 . So I checked the graphic config and specs on direct X dialogue box (dxdiag) where it shows a total memory of just 256 mb . First I thought it could be because of the old driver I had . So i downloaded the latest one for intel hd 630 . But when i trynna install it it gives the error of "your system does not meet the minimum requirements to run this software " . Please ans asap .

What you are seeing is correct.

what you have is a low spec entry level computer.

the i3 7th gen 7100 chip has nothing to do with the low spec graphics card memory use.

you have 4GB (unless you chose the 16GB option) of RAM

of which 256mb is being used by the graphics.

Due to its lack of dedicated graphics memory or eDRAM cache,

the HD 630 has to access the main memory.

the specs of the Dell Vostro 3268 is

updates to drivers are to fix specific problems in certain machines.

never install a fresh updated driver just because someone tells you to,

neither should you if a piece of software such as a driver updater tells you to.

if your computer requires an update to a driver, it will be found at

the computer manufacturers website.

if it is not broke then do not try to fix it.

the computer has been built to use the drivers it came with.

Integrated graphics uses RAM for their memory and the system automatically adjusts how much RAM it uses as needed.

Amount of RAM does not equal speed, it doesn't mean it goes faster if it uses more RAM. RAM is just the area is uses to store data it is working with.

It is showing the actual graphics memory that it's found, despite the information you believe.
