The best way to remove stuff from the computer is to put it in the recycle bin and then right click and choose “Empty Recycle Bin” to permanently delete it. However, if you want more space on the computer and this doesn’t seem to be working, it might be that you have too many programs downloaded. To make more space, try using the Disk Defragmenter or Disk Clean Up on your computer which can most likely be found by clicking Start, All Programs, Accessories, and then System Tools. It may take a while to use both the Disk Defragmenter and Disk Clean Up depending on how much memory you have used up. Another option is to save all the important things you have on your laptop on a Flash Drive or burn it on a disk and do a system restore. This will allow you restore all the original memory your computer came with. If you don’t want to go through with any of this, you can buy a memory card for your computer. I hope this answer helps!

1- Try to empty ur re-cycle bin periodically.

2- make a search *.tmp then select all and delete, again empty ur recycle bin

3- I think what you delete in the first place is shortcuts, thats why u find most of what u deleted right back. try to go from file explorer and delete whatever u want, not just the shortcuts, but the basic file.

Two ways. 1. Delete it and then empty the recycle bin or press and hold Shift when you delete something. The latter permanntly deletes it. Hope this helps!

normally after deleting things go to recycle bin.

if you do not want this to happen want to do direct delete, then keep shift key pressed and do delete it will not go recycle bin.

else after your data go to recycle bin, right click on recycle bin and select Empty Recycle bin.

now it will no more occupy space on hard drive.

The shift-delete doesn't permanently delete a file - it merely deletes it from the windows file index bypassing the recycle bin. These files can be restored using an undelete program.

The easiest way is to use a file erasing program that overwrites the file in random binary prior to deleting, so if it's undeleted it cant be restored. The best one is also a free one (what I use) downloadable here:

Just empty the recycle bin, you need to take the trash out from your house before it's gone.

ccleaner is just what you want. just go to ccleaner.com and download the super cleaner. it will wipe off waste stuff on your machine and make nearly 1GB freespace. you should not fear downloading certain programs from internet, all of them are not harmful. things like Registry cleaner, recovery registry, etc.. are harmful, but ccleaner is very clean and efficient software which benefits us by giving room.
