Good build for a gaming PC under $800?

I have been gaming on a asus g75. Just sold it for $800 and want to build a desktop. I was wondering if this would be a good build?

That would be great, but if you have room in your budget (as you didn't give the prices of the parts as they change from place to place) you could go up to a Fx-6350 or even an fx-8120



You don't really need a DVD drive for anything anymore, as you can download something and put it on a flash drive, you could save some money by leaving that out.



And as for graphics card, depends what you want. If you want to be able to run next gen games at logical ultra (no insane AA and other non noticeable settings) at decent frames yes I would go with the gtx 770.



The I am to lazy to google the motherboard, but remember the motherboard doesn't really effect performance, just make sure it has the slots you need. If you can get a cheaper mono and loose the disk drive, it would be a good idea to do so and either get a better gpu/cpu



Never skimp on the psu tho, always go with a name brand or else it could pop and take a hd with it.



Other than that it should be good.
