Your desktop items could be hidden. Right-click on the desktop, put your mouse on "Arrange icons by",on the menu that comes up, make sure that "Show desktop items" is checked.

Hope this helps.

It could be a few things. First see if the task bar is hidden by placing the mouse on all four corners and look for an arrow. You should also be able to test this by pressing the Windows key and see if the start menu pops up. If not, boot into safe mode and try to roll back a few days through the help menu. If this doesnt work, you can try running msconfig in safeboot and disable every startup item and reboot.

attempt to run a clean occasion of explorer, from job supervisor->record(menu)->New job(Run)-> write "explorer" in text cloth-container . If that artwork, perhaps domicile windows fail loading explorer or maybe you have an epidemic. From that occasion of explorer attempt to activate your antivirus and make an entire equipment test. yet another selection is to commence domicile windows in secure mode, if artwork than ought to be a domicile windows subject.

your explorer.exe file is crashing, try booting into safe mode, if that doesn't work then it's time to put in the system disc and do a restore.
