where can i find vista(vga) drivers for my new compaq CQ3140IX PC?

i hav -purchased new compaq cq3140ix destop...
im getting win 7 drivers on its site but where can i find vista drivers(vga DRIVER)...for this PC..

Umm...honestly, your computer by the looks of it came out after windows 7 did, according to the website, the only OS that should be installed on this is W7 so there are no drivers for it that are OEM before W7. If you can track down who made the hardware, you may be able to get drivers from them. but it's doubtful. but here is the drivers for your pc from HP

I used to try and download all my drivers manually. But then I discovered there was software available which can scan your system and update all your drivers automatically. The whole process takes only a few minutes. If you are lazy like I am check out the following website for a free scan:

If you need drivers not included with the OS, get them from the OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) or maybe from Microsoft downloads.



But...



There is a lazy man's (like me) way of doin' it.



Download 'TechTracker' from CNET.com.



It will scan yer PC and tell you which drivers can be upgraded, it will offer to do the work for you or you can do it yourself.



While there, download all kindsa good stuff and subscribe to their newsletter to keep you informed.

Oh yeah, all their 'stuff' is pre-tested and FREE.
