Hey everyone I'm getting an Alienware gaming PC and I was wondering what you'd rate this on a 1-10 scale. Here are the specs:
CPU: Intel® Core™ i7 920 2.66GHz (8MB Cache) Quad Core Processor
GPU: Nvidia Geforce GTX 260 1.8GB
OS: Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit
RAM: 3GB Triple Channel 1333MHz DDR3
HDD: 500GB - SATA-II, 3Gb/s, 7,200RPM, 16MB Cache HDD

So if you could rate it on a 1-10 scale for entry-level gaming, it would be sweet. And if you could leave some feedback as to why you chose your rating.
Also, I plan on upgrading the RAM to 6GB
UPDATE: I updated the video card. I like that one. Also, why are people saying the i7 sucks? It's like the newest CPU from intel right? And I look this card, Run Crysis at 85 FPS. Id say thats good :3

That's a decent setup for gaming, but your a generation behind getting the GTX 260 for the money your gonna have to pay for that pc because it has the Alienware name....

I would give it a 7....

Look into getting at least a GTX 460 as there not much more expensive than the GTX 260 and the 460 is a much much better card and you will have DX11......9/10 with the 460....

I don't know why people would not like the i7...If you like it get it,its a great Intel platform with very good performance....

Well its good but I can tell you this much you could build this computer yourself rather than a pre-built version from dell for literally half the price. Dell are very overpriced well at least their Alienware range is. But I would suggest you build this yourself, or get someone to.

7 - 10
