hey im wondering after i have placed the 2 hard drives in and there ready 2 go from blank what do i do these are sata HDD btw

1 open control panel and click performance and maintenance

2 click administrative tools and then double click computer management.3click the plus sighn to view the storage options.

4 click disk management

5 right click the dynamic disk on which you want to create the raid volume and click new volume from the menu tha apears.

the new volume wizard apear,

6 click next

7click the raid volume option you want and click next,

8 the seledt disks screen appears showing a list of all the available raid disks,

9 select the disks you want to use to create the volume.

10 click add,11 the selected dynamic disks appear here,

12 click here and select a drice letter for each disk,click next,the format volume screen appears,13 click this option to format youre partition with the settings you choose.14click and select NTFS ckeck the box to perform a quick format click next and finish,

well first of all does the mobo you are putting them on have a hardware or software version of raid because it makes a big difference
