If you are on such a tight budget, I would really recommend going for an APU instead of a CPU+GPU and put the money you save into getting more RAM.

AMD's got their Ax serries, the higher the number the better it's graphic capabilities. and later on down the road you can add an AMD/ATI card and crossfire it.

Dude I'm sorry to burst your bubble but you can't even get a decent gaming pc for 500 bucks.. If you can raise maybe $750 then go on pcpartpicker.com and try it out. It checks if all parts are compatible and is very helpful with finding the cheapest parts that will get you a decent build. If you don't know how to earn money (assuming you don't have a job since you are trying to only pay $240 no offense) just advertise on Facebook or something that you're looking for any kind of work. It also helps to sell things on sites like eBay. Haha hope I helped.

well, i hate to break it to you, 240$ isn't enough for any pc that will run decently. I bought a customized desktop from pcpartpicker.com for 530$ and didnt get anywhere near a finished build. It was so bad it could barely run games, but it didnt need to because it was built to be extensively upgraded as i got more money. It now is a beast with an i7 @ 3.6 ghz, and a GTX 770. To be honest with you, those parts wont help you at all, they are parts of a 6 year old desktop that will run windows xp (if even). You need to be prepared to spend at least 600$ and above.

Just an fyi, this is no gaming computer. The video card is basic. 2GB of ram is minimalistic just for windows. the processor is just fair, nothing more. The power supply in that case is probably more junk than anything given the price.

I don't mean to be a downer but I just wanted to point this out. If you want a decent gaming computer, you really should spend about twice as much, at a minimum.

That is a computer that would email and surf the net and play face book games that is not a gaming computer .
