Modems are used for legacy dial up Internet. No computers come with modems nowadays.

What is used now is a WiFi (wireless) or Ethernet (wired) connection to a standalone broadband router/modem that provides high speed Internet to all of your home network via a ISP such as Comcast, Verizon, etc.

The computer you cite has both WiFi and Ethernet capability built in.

Good Luck.

Most PCs don't come with a "modem" just a LAN port (ethernet) ...to which your separate "modem" plugs into.. Since a "modem" is part of your internet providers service they supply the "modem". If you mean by "Modem" a wireless set up, then yes its built in but of course you would need a "wireless" modem as your receiver/transmitter which in turn would be hooked up to your service providers "modem" via and ethernet cable!

Most people in the U.S. have gone to broadband. Dialup internet is becoming rare as the cost of broadband continues to drop.

While at one time, onboard 56k modems were common before broadband really took off. The number of dialup internet providers have also diminished greatly.

If you are looking for a 56k dialup modem you might be able to find one here:

yes, it will still work without a modem. most computers don't have a built in modem, the modem is connected from the wall cable or dsl adapter, then to your router if you have one.
