Help me about this intel motherboard.?

so I am planning to
purchase intel dg31pr
motherboard.my
current processor is
intel pentium D@3.0
Ghz.I will definately
buy a new processor for this motherboard.so I just want to know if I can use pentium D with this motherboard and what do you think
about this motherboard?is any
better in that range?
please don't tell me
to buy more than this.

The mobo you listed has a socket LGA775........so you will need a socket LGA775 processor. If your pentium D is the 840 it's dual core socket LGA775 3.0ghz and it will work on that mobo.
