I plan on running the Windows 7 release candidate on this until it actually comes out. I just need to know if all of these parts will fit together well.

Get a better power supply for your rig. I'm not talking about something more powerful, but you'll need something that's a little more reliable. Check out Corsair or PC Power & Cooling, it's very worth it.

Invest in looking at a better case. Not to trash on Rosewill today or anything, but get something that has a higher rating.

I understand that there's a combo deal with the power supply as well, but you want to be able to get something that will last.

Good luck, hope this helps.

I would advise against that hard drive. You do not want a 5400 RPM drive. Get at least a 7200 RPM drive.

Also consider the cheap case and PSU, I remember my first build I did the exact same things. I skimped on the PSU and the Case to save money. Its not worth it, buy a case you will be happy with and one thats easier to work in. Name brand PSU's are a must imho, when the cheapo's blow its not pretty!

Stick with the P43 chipset, there is no performance difference between it and the P45. The P45 adds crossfire support.

Good luck.

get a mac.

not to sound like a fan boy, putting windows 7 on a mac and running it natively (with out Mac OSX at all) would run windows faster.

not bad. two things i suggest you get instead:

a p45 chipset motherboard (it's a bit faster), and a western digital black hard drive (if you're a gamer), or green (if you don't game) that's 640gigs or more.

also you'll need a 64bit os to take advantage of more than 3gigs of ram.

they should work together, but you might want to get a more powerful power supply, and a higher quality one like a corsair or antec, 750 watts should be more what you want.
