Getting ready to install Asterisk on my SUSE 10 box. Requirements are for PCI 2.2 only.

well I'm no Linux guru but I would say find out what model of motherboard that you have, assuming you built it yourself, and then go to the website and see the specs.



If it's made by an oem (Dell, IBM, etc) then you should go to their website. They should absolutely list the specs for you.



I know Asterisk is for VoIP but how does it require a certain PCI slot type?

right click on "my computer" the choose properties

u'll find it on the bottom right

this is the easiest way
