my computer keeps restarting over and over.
when the "run in safe mode" options and such come up ; the list of options to chose from do absolutely nothing.- by nothing i mean any choice that i click do nothing- it simply just restarts after clicking the option. this has lead me to believe that it is an OS problem....
PLEASE help PLEASE
any possible solutions with out reformatting
I dont know what to do and my pc is my life.

rebooting like this is usually caused by a bad sector on your Hard Drive. You could either do a reinstall from your installation cd's Or try Spinrite from grc.com to try and repair it. Spinrite's not cheap, but it's well worth the expense.

Sounds in simple terms like Win Xp....I often could format in communities of three to get the wonderful setup. Its time eating, exceptionally in case you place as lots song, video games and flicks on it as I do. It seems such as you would be greater efficient off reformatting and then installation homestead windows back.

buy another hard drive put it in then install on that one to get acess to your files

sounds like a virus or a xp sp3 update problem im sure
