The clicking noises usually means that the hard drive is toast. Your best bet to recover your music and any other files you may have is to disconnect your hard drive to prevent further damage and take it somewhere that specializes in data recovery. The longer you leave the hard drive connected the harder it will be to recover.

The head of the HDD is broken, if you use alot it will also damage the media, take it to a proffesional to recover your data.
