You have two non-ideal options under XP. Vista and 7 have the functionality built in to extend partitions.

1) Install disk partitioning software (free or purchased) as Windows XP doesn't include the necessary functionality to resize partitions http://www.thefreecountry.com/utilities/partitioneditors.shtml

2) If the partitions are continuous on the disk, and do NOT include your system C: drive, you can back up any files on the involved partitions to an external disk, use Windows Disk Management to remove the partitions and then create a new, larger partition out of the freed up raw space. Disk Management can be reached at Start->Administrative Tools->Computer Management->Storage->Disk Management

Any cutting-edge residing house windows OS will ask the place you desire to out it, in fact you ought to use the XP placing up technique to do the partitioning whilst put in, every time you e book your reveal screen will provide up on the alternative of which OS besides from, you in basic terms %. and enter As reported above i might have theory the router could be the two yet whilst no longer you are able to continually purchase a like minded USE instantaneous adaptor to get around it the project i might have (aside from what the 1st poster reported approximately RAM) is problematic stress area, I had an previous 60gb problematic stress with in basic terms XP on and it become outstanding how briskly I crammed it. you have much less room and two times the utility. you will desire to purchase yet another small low-fee problematic stress and piggyback the smaller one off the better one to have 2 problematic drives (yet you would be able to desire to make advantageous its the impressive connection, IDE is the older and SATA is the greater moderen trouble-free form upload: oh definite, its a lap actual, sorry you could need in basic terms a replace problematic stress, 2 wont slot in

Partitions need to be "empty" to be merged.
