I just purchased a studio one touchscreen from dell. It crashes all the time. I think it has something to do with adobe flash, but I'm not sure. What can I do to fix this? Other than the frequent crashes, I like everything else about the computer. (LOL)

Load your computer into SAFE MODE(F8 or F6 during startup). Then check the event viewer to see what is causing the problem. The event viewer is a detailed tree that will allow you to view all files or applications that were accessed within a specified period. The two sections that you should pay special attention are Critical and Error

1.Click Start

2.Click Control Panel

3. Click System and Maintenance

4. Click Administrative Tools

5. Double-Click Event Viewer.

6. Under Windows logs, Click System tab

7. Check for red errors icons and the exclamation icons.

Could the computer be overheating?

Maybe the Hard drive is going bad because I know that is what happens to me when I play a game on another HDD, just randomly speeds up and crashes.

I'm not sure because I've never had a touchscreen but that is what I think what might be wrong.

When does it crash, when you open a certain program or something?

Yeah, just about actual a pandemic or malware. The bluescreen errors is slightly imprecise and on a similar time as each so often it rather is a motive force inflicting the matters it rather is puzzling to discover. My prevalent element is to envision for hardware issues (loose processors are a extremely common concern for crashes) and setting up an app to study processor temperature - as returned undesirable cooling will reason crashes. If no longer something got here across, i might pass to "bleepingcomputer" and acquire their effectual device talked approximately as combofix. i detect it very reliable at looking the tougher virii and malware - you run it and wait (for an prolonged time each so often). i exploit malwarebytes antimalware device popular besides. If all else fails, format the C: rigidity (you will lose all information) reinstall abode windows and see if that treatments it. then you definately would know it rather is a hardware fault.

You might need to supply more information, 'crashes - hangs' or 'crashes - blue screen'? Does it do it at anything in particular or everything? Are there updated drivers/service packs available for it? Cables in correctly?
