under Rs.7000,Radeon HD 7750 and Radeon HD 6770 are best cards to buy.HD 7750 is roughly equal to HD 6770 in performance(although little slow in some games) but consume very less power and can run fine with good 300 watts of power supply.its maximum power consumption is 55 watts so it does not require a power connector.HD 6770 however requires a good quality 400-450 watts of power supply with one power connector.so if you are using a local cheap psu then you need to upgrade that to handle HD 6770.

AMD cards mostly offer better value for money than Nvidia cards under Rs.10000 budget.Rs.5000 and below price segment is entirely dominated by amd cards.from GTX 560 that cost around Rs.11000,things start to get equal.nvidia cards also consume more power than their amd counterparts.however neither company is perfect.Nvidia cards support Physx and CUDA.howver those features can only help if you are running a game or application that supports it.it all depends on the personal choice.sometimes nvidia card may perform better than amd one in particular game and vice versa as some games are optimized for nvidia and some for amd cards.always check which card perform better than other in the games you want to play.

Its just a brand name . Both companies are the top graphics adapter manufacturers . For Rs. 7000 you won;t be able to max out these high end games . For that you may get an HD 4850 .

Check online benchmarks and reviews because both companies produce a variety of cards, ranging from hardcore gaming cards right the way down to very weak budget cards.
