system idle means that the system is not doing anything, so 99% on system idle is a good thing

system idle process is should be at 99% or 100% when nothing else is using memory, it shows that the computer is idle and not processing anything Edit: but if your cpu usage located at the bottom of the window is 99% or more look for a different program other than system idle process and terminate it

It's fine... good even.

the system idle processes is the amount of memory that is being unused. If you run programs which take up CPU, then you'll notice that the system idle processes goes down.

so in short, its absolutely nothing to worry about.

ummm lol, system idle process... is the time it takes for your computer to do something, if you delete that it would tell your computer to do nothing.... you may have a virus though. and if it doesn't feel like you have a virus than you are just fine how you are, naturally the system idle process can reach 99% of your cpu

ha i really hope you're joking

In case you're not, the system idle process basically takes all the cpu power thats not in use and keeps it until another program needs it.

That is normal. It just means that 99% of your CPU is just waiting for something to do.

"System Idle Process" is just what your computer is not using.

It's Idle process.

it doesn't actually take up your usage.\

Hence the word "Idle"
