Intel is the i7 890x six core processor for about $1200

AMD is going to release a six core processor in May (next month)

Here is an article on the AMD processor to be released next month:

Nvidia just released its new Fermi core GPU video card, but I haven't read any reviews on it yet

ATI's best right now is the ATI HD 5890 dual GPU card

Since I haven't read a shootout review, I don't know how much better, if any, the fermi card is compared to the current ATI high end card.

Intel: Core i7-980X Extreme Edition , 6 core 12 threads (Fastest PC processor yet

http://www.cpubenchmark.net/high_end_cpus.html )

AMD:AMD Phenom X4 II 975 Black Edition processor

ATI: Radeon HD 5970(dual GPU), Radeon HD 5870 (SINGLE GPU),

ATI Radeon HD 5870 Eyefinity 6 (can support 6 1080p monitors with 1 card .)

Nvidia: GTX 480 and GTX 470,these r the fastest single gpus but their drivers r still to date is in beta

so by time when good driver comes out games can use the full potential of these gpus (they

say soon there will be dual GTX 4XX gpu card but no release dates.)

But when you look at the bench marks both 5870 and 480 r close but gtx 480 wins most of them by a little margin with beta drivers . but for the money ATI will give a better performance that the new Nvidia.

best cpu is the new 6 core intel i7, fastest new gpu is the amd 5970 dual gpu card the fastest single gpu card is the nvidia gtx 480 (fermi) it beats the ati hd 5870 in most benchmarks but cant touch the dual gpu 5970 even though it uses more power and runs hotter than it. Being that it uses all that power and generates that much heat I wouldn't count on a dual gpu version of it either unless nvidia breaks the pcie power limit of 300 watts which fermi already at least meets despite the tdp rating of 250 watts (in all reviews it uses at least as much usually even more than the 5970 which is rated at 298 watts)

The version of any Microsoft product on Microsoft's internet site is often the main recent version. in case you decide on for to be conscious of no rely if the main recent version is a beta, or a launch candidate, or something else, you will might desire to verify technologies information web pages or RSS feeds. (in case you downloaded IE8 as quickly as they advised you that a launch version became out, and you downloaded it from their internet site, you obtain the launch version.)
