Before I start, I should probably say I use a PC with Windows XP. And I use DSL.

Okay, so first I have a pop up that says "Registry Defender Platinum. Please upgrade for full repair." I trying uninstalling it, but it isn't in Add/Remove software. I want to know how I can uninstall this so I won't need to see this pop up all the time.

Then, I have something that says "RUNDLL. Error Loading(Specific file or something) The specified module could not be found." Waht does that mean and how do I fix it?

Then I have this, "Microsoft Visual C++ Debug Library. Debug Assertation Failed." Again, what does this mean and how do I fix it?

Then It keeps saying "The page cannot be found" or "Internet Explorer cannot find the page (or server)" Or when I use Firefox it says "Connection Interupted." What can I do to fix that?

My Internet and Ethernet green lights(on my modem) keep blinking, sometimes franticly. Why is it doing that and is that a problem? If so, what can I do to fix it?

Then lastly, my page will freeze and I need to shut my power off so that I can get it unforzen, I need to restart the whole thing. Sometimes I can move my mouse, sometimes not. I can't click anything and even key codes don't work (ctrl+alt+delete). How can I fix it?

Thanks very, very much.

Sounds like your PC is full of spyware and or viruses, perhaps irreparably.

Try the following. If that doesn't work, you gotta backup your work and reinstall Windows.

1) Download spybot search and destroy @ download.com

2) Download ad aware @ download.com

3) Download Windows Defender here http://www.microsoft.com/windows/pro...r/default.mspx

4) Download Avast! antivirus at download.com

5) Reboot into safemode (hit F8 a bunch of times after you see "Dell" (or whatever) BIOS screen comes up but before the Windows load screen

6) Run Spybot, Avast, and AdAware repeatedly UNTIL A SCAN RUNS TOTALLY CLEAN

7) Reboot into regular mode and install Windows Defender

8) Uninstall and programs you don't use or recognize

If that doesn't work, time to download drivers and reinstall Windows.

You have spyware. Download some good antivirus and anti-spyware/malware software such as

SuperAntiSpyware, Ad-Aware, SpyBot Search & Destroy, Malwarebytes Anti-malware and the list could go on and on.

Actually, give this a shot:

that defender Platinum downloaded itself on your computer, they want you to buy it. Get some spyware program like AD_Aware and anti virus. You may also need to do a system restore.
