1. Is this going to be able to run all of the current high demanding games including those soon to come out (i play crysis, wow, call of duty MW2, Supcom, etc...)

2. Any suggestions on a better gaming computer? if so it has to stay within my budget (or very near)

1. That computer will pretty much annihilate anything game out right now, and for the foreseeable future, so don't worry about that. That 5850 card is a BEAST, I should know I have one. :) You can get the processor up to 3.6 easily on air with an aftermarket air cooler, 3.4 with stock cooler pretty safely. Make sure that PSU isn't some off brand piece of sh!t. The PSU is where a lot of these companies cut corners. That HD is a low power drive. Try and get a WD Blue or a WD Caviar Black.

2. Well, your in Aussieland, I'm in the US. I guarantee I could built that computer for a lot less thru Newegg.com than what IBuyPower could sell it to me for.

If that computer fits in your budget and you don't wanna mess with building, then buy it.

Seems like you should be able to better for that price. You should build it yourself, save some $$, and throw in an AMD X6 (6 core CPU)

You could also bump up the card to a 5870

I'd get a WD Caviar black drive instead. The Caviar green drives are slower, it's most likely 5400 rpm

EDIT: Okay, that might not be a bad deal in Australian dollars. I was thinking US. I also have a 5850 Sapphire, really good card

Well no body can guarantee for future system needs...but the configuration u have selected is good may give you less strain in playing future games...even if u have problem in playing some high end games which are about to come need not to fear as hardware update is available with any brand so..dont worry and be happy using Compatibility Modes of Microsoft
