My Desktop computer keeps getting a blue screen of death HELP PLZZZ!!!!?

When ever i start my pc it goes on to the actually desktop where i can see my programs and then like 20 secs later BAM!!! Blue screen of death it says "A problem has been detected and windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer" second line "An executive worker thread is being terminated without having gone through the worker thread rundown code. Work items queued to the Ex worker queu must not terminat their threads. A stack trace should indicate the culprit. Then it tries telling me restart if this happens again then it gives me,

Please if there is anything i can do ill do it. If i have to just wipe my computer clean i will, restart everything from scratch, well with a cd that is. Please someone help me.

Add. info, im on my brothers lap top, my desktop is a dell dimension E310 with windows xp on it.

sorry, wipe your hard drive, something infectious has been encountered in your central files.

Run the diagnostics on it. When you start up your pc it will prompt you in the up right handside of the screen. (I thinks it's f12 you need to press for the diagnostics). Get a backup of anything important on your hard disk done asap, if you can.



I have got a dell too and my hard disk is on its way out.....:-(

reinstall will almost certainly fix it.

however if you can start in safe mode ( press F8 on boot then select safe mode with networking )

then reinstall any drivers that you have recently installed with the latest versions.

this should solve the problem

then of course reboot
