i have a cd that says cyclic redudancy error while copying but the same cd copied perfectly for my friend ...he uses a lg writter i use a sony writter...
whats the problem....is there a software that can fix this!!!

The problem can be hardware (loose cables, failing drive), software or damaged media. In most cases checking and cleaning the disc is the easiest way to overcome the problem. If different clean discs produce the same error, it is likely to be a hardware issue (check the discs in another drive). indicates a read error try cleaning the drive using a standard cd/dvd player cleaner

Go and download alcohol 120% to perform this task for you...make sure to select the option within alcohol to ignore read errors..
