So now what?? I have a Dell XPS 410 with an Intel V//V processor, Windows XP and 1 GB RAM. I downloaded revouninstaller, which greatly helped, but now it's running slow again already. My antivirus is AVG and it removed the Cy-something or other virus. Shockwave has crashed a few times, I keep getting Windows Installer trying to installe ActiveSync 4.5 but it never works and I don't even know what it's used for, since it doesn't seem to affect my mobile at all. I have no idea what to do now besides have someone wipe the whole thing and start all over again.

Thank you so much in advance!

THE BEST BEST BEST Solution i tell it in the end. but first if you dont want to spent some money try to reinstall all flash players try to install the latest drivers for all your componets(with a program like the driver genious for example that scan automatically for all your drivers(more easy))here s some programs that maybe can help with your register and more. (game booster) (Your uninstaller -to remove completely all the uneccesarry programs) (cleanmypc registry booster).

the most necessary is to choose your computer to run for best performance -you can do it with right click on my computer-> properties->advanced and adjust for best performance

here is a video with how you do it with 2more tricks

ok .. and now for the best solution

if you can spare some money buy a cheap ssd drive and install your windows inside instead of your hdd(hard disk) Your DELL gonna run 5times faster with no need of defragmentation and other bullsh$ts

and also buy 1more gb of ram. Trust me

Oh! and i forgot... delete any anti virus from your computer!!!!! the only thing it does is to cost more RAM and making your computer slower!! trust me again... i have no antivirus for 10years and with windows firewall off!!! NO problem

Test your computer by disconnecting from the internet. Disable your AVG antivirus. See if the speed improved. If it did maybe it's time to switch to the free antivirus that has a higher detection rate, makes less false positive and has the fastest scan engine:

I'm talking about Avast and Avira here.

Another thing you can try is as you have Revo Uninstaller, use the Autorun Manager tool and see what programs start up when you boot your computer. Turn off some of those that you don't really need all of the time. Limit the use of eye-candy programs too. They eat up your CPU and memory usage.

I think i offered to help af ew days ago with you on something. Ive helped a few ppl since then so i forget what exactly, but Im available now to try some tips and tricks. If nothing else a re-installation is an option if youd like or a different os that may run better with your computer specs like linux.

Drop me a mail if you want some help.

If your ram is utterly working then whatever is consuming it away. Uninstall needless systems and program. But first run the anti virus scanner, probably you received inflamed and that's the way in which the virus works. Best choice this is to have it reformatted.

in response to your answer to my last so called question, i posted the joke many times and got all funny responses which outnumbered the douchebag answers by a large amount. I have even received the answer "lol you have made my day" on several occations. I insult no one. By day i hang with friends and make them laugh, by night i help the sad people that cant sleep. The people who report them are stuck up and rob the sad people of spirit lifts that they could have aquired. How dare you judge me. Since you wasnt too mean you arent concidered a bully but you are close. Dont respond to "questions" if you dont have something positive in mind. I responded here to hopefully get you to stop judging others without knowing all the facts.

(jack again on a different profile) forgot to mention, dont teach your kid or kids to throw their two cents in about something that isnt their business. My "question" wasnt for you so you shouldnt have answered unless you was one of the people that reported my previous questions. People get beat up for stuff like that. If you teach your kids to speak about things that isnt their business then they will get mistreated for it. Youre only safe online. In real life you wouldnt have said anything or i would have been in your face with tons of stuff to say to put you in your place for butting in where you wasnt asked. And if you even tried to take a swing then i would have hit a girl for the first time. Youre only safe online. You should act online the same as you would in real life. Im funny and helpful but still will defend myself in real life and online. Unless youre a 250lbs black belt genius then you shouldnt ever smart off to anyone. But you of course will when ONLINE.
