You don't have a sound card installed.

Check the hardware profiles again under SYSTEM in the control panel and report the sound chip here.

There are a pair issues i'm able to advise. click the initiating button, and decide run. variety dxdiag and run the audio exams. in the event that they run ok, and you do no longer hear something, then that's no longer likely a driving force situation. bypass into the administration panel and decide device and gadget supervisor. examine on the checklist for yellow or crimson tags next to any units. If there are none then that's no longer likely a hardware situation. you additionally might ensure the headphones or audio device are plugged into the appropriate ports. additionally open the sound residences to ensure the gadget is chosen on the checklist and that the quantity settings are up and not muted. In my journey, I swap between usb and soundblaster settings.

What the fuqk? Duuuude...all you need is Speccy from piriform! :D

It is free and it will show what sound card you have just by clicking on the "sound card" options!
