You have a corrupted file in your Windows system. It could also be cused by a registry entry that has been "orphaned" from a program that has been deleted from your comp. It also could be caused by a virus/trojan that has infected the file.......and they love that file.

Here is a step by step repair for your problem.

It is easier than me doing a lot of typing.

One other thing have you tried system restore form your earlier restore points?

Good luck

Windows system 32 directory is very sensitive, your small mistake can bring serous damage for your operating system and it's software, even sometimes you lose your expensive software like Anti virus, MS-Office, Converters, Games etc.

you can fix this problem by three easily way:

1: If you know regedit or gpedit.msc then you can do it, if you don't know so please don't do it, it'll bring more serous damage for your system.

2: there are many software's to fix your .dll windows files, like Winxp Manager, windows Manager, windows dll fixer, even sometimes CCleaner, (CCleaner is 100% free software for your windows registry), but they will take some of your pocket money from 4$ to 15$, and also need first to understand or learn how to use their software application (minimum one day).

3: another way and easiest way with no cost no experience for another software and 100% satisfiable for you is repair your current windows XP, It'll not effect your installed Games or software applications and It'll take only 45 minutes, you need only your Current windows XP Installation CD or DVD.

to do that: First restart your windows then just put your windows XP CD/DVD disk to CD/DVD drive (first need to both from CD/DVD, see your computer manufacturer: some automatically loading, some need to pressing F2, F4, F8 or F10 keyboard button/key), after this press any key then wait to load XP installation press enter once time, (don't hit enter for recovery), then no need to install fresh copy, press R keyboard button for your current windows XP, after this it'll copy some installation files gain will restart, this time don't press any key leave it for a while and then It'll continue repairing...(little faster then new installation process).

but be remember, if your computer is infected with Virus, you need first Anti virus because after repairing or even fresh installation, again it'll affect your computer.

Sounds like somewhere along the way you downloaded something that hacked your Registry files and inserted a dummy file name into the lists.

Here is a site that describes the file

http://www.prevx.com/filenames/X1422916729589173779-X1/RIRUGOZI.DLL.html

This site seems valid, I'm always leary of sites that want to download programs to scan your system but they may be real.

This is valid

Microsofts "Malicious software removal tool" you want to download and run this program.

its means you dont have the required version of Direct X (its a video processing deal) put the original game cd back in, reinstall the game, and when it asks you if you want to install Direct X answer yes, if that dont work google the latest Direct X drivers download and install them and then try again.
