I already have a steam account, so that won't be an issue. I have read many reports of bugs and glitches on mac, but have they patched those? I meet all of the minimum system requirements from the website, but 2 of the 4 "recommended" requirements. Will it be enough to run the game? The things I am missing from recommended are:
Recommended: Intel Quad Core, I have Intel Core 2 Duo.
Recommended: 512 MB VRAM, I have 256.
I meet every other requirement listed, but with so many people complaining, I just wanted to make sure.

I play it on my iMac i5 with 8GB and it runs great.

On my Mac Mini with core 2 duo, and 2 GB ram, it runs poorly, but it doesn't crash or anything, it's just slow.

You have the same Specs as me (I have a macbook pro, you may have the same), and the answer is: Somewhat. I can barely run the lowest map size on the lowest graphics, and still get a lot of lag, but it is playable, so you can, however I wouldn't recommend it.

it will run, but your performance probably wont be the best. try to conserve RAM and cpu power by closing all other programs when you play it
