So lately my computer has had some real issues with shutting down without warning, it's done it around 5 times today and its absolutely infuriating, its a desktop computer so i cant get a cooling pad if it's a heat issue, i checked the fans and they are intact and the tower itself is slightly warm but not on fire like its a normal temperature. i dont have a virus, i've scanned several times, my computer is also relatively new (my dad built it last year) so..idk what the problem is. my specs are;

Have you updated or installed any drivers/software lately?

Possible issues :

1) Wire soot.

2) Broken Wire.

3) Cables are not properly plugged.

4) Cooling fan stuck sometimes.

My suggestions are :

1) Try to Unplug all your cables and Plug it back.

2) Ensure the wires are not broken and touch to other wires.

P/S: I had this issue years ago, and it was because of the cables were not plugged properly. I don't know if you have the same issue like I did.

The power supply may be dropping the +5 volt below minimum required.level. Check the power supply. This is the most likely culprit. The voltage wraps around the motherboard in a circuit named Power Good. A component on the circuit (capacitor likely) could be breaking down. Your problem is more than likely one of these two components.. Good Luck

Could be over heating there might be dust in the heart sink or something so that instead of blowing the heat off the cpu its just blowing dust around

Possibly a short somewhere maybe on the power supply or the motherboard. Maybe some new hardware isn't connected properly. If you recently installed new hardware, try reconnected it.

Just because you have scanned does not mean you dont have anything. Probably a command shutting off your computer during a certain time period just wipe your drive.
