Hotfixes are updates from Microsoft which patch the Windows Operating system. They should not be uninstalled unless after installing one, your system has been misbehaving or a serious problem occurs.

The numbers refer to the hotfix - you can visit Microsoft's website and enter that code to find out more about what the hotfix fixed. It's usually written in tech-speak - you have been warned!

they say after six months they can be removed but I donot recommend it. A hotfix is something that either updates or fixes a problem on your computer, uninstalling it is not a good thing.

Hotfixes are updates from Microsoft. No more, no less. Hence the name "hotfix". Do not remove.

they're updates to residing house windows xp.. each and every time a company comments a probability to a Microsoft product, they study it and if it poses a important possibility to the shoppers they finally launch a patch for it (referred to as hotfix). XP had such countless warm fixes that in case you placed in all of them this is like installation a 2d reproduction of residing house windows XP on your demanding-rigidity... you may get rid of them from upload/get rid of (yet no longer all of them).. in case you try this your equipment will be extra weak!

They are updates for Windows, that shouldn't be removed unless your system is having issues & then, only the one causing the issue should be removed.

In the add/remove programs, should be a box that either shows or hides these updates.
