My brother downloaded photoshop and a few games from an torrent website. I'm trying to transfer photoshop and the games from one computer to another using a flashdrive, but I don't know what I'm doing... HELP? When I search for photoshop, only the shorcut appears... and I need the folder/file containing the program!?

shake the cpu and see if the files fall out.

You aren't moving files: you are moving programs, which is a bit more complicated than moving files.

What you need are the original files/installers that your brother downloaded from the torrent. You can use those to install the program on your computer. However, you can't really transfer the already-installed copy of photoshop that he's already using on his computer.

So long story short: find out which folder he stores his torrent downloads in, and grab the photoshop/game files from there. DONT try to copy the program files from anywhere else, it won't work.

When you downloaded the torrent (not that I would know anything about them), it should have come with a file that installs Photoshop on your computer. This might be called "setup" or something. This is what you need to copy to your other computer, along with any folders that are associated with it.

Most likely there will be a folder in your downloads directory called something along the lines of Adobe Photoshop, you will need to copy that folder to your flash drive.

Don't copy the folder in C:\Program Files\ because that won't work.

Get the properties of the shortcut which will give you the file name and location.
