I am running a brand new( as in I purchased 4 weeks ago) PC with 4 gigs of RAM, Intel Core 2 Duo 64 bit CPU. It has Vista Home Premium and an Nvidia GeForce 7500 graphics card. My physical memory usage while running Slimbrowser, Corel Painter and Photoshop is near 80%. CPU usage is around 30 to 40%. Anything I can do to fix this? BTW, I have no spyware or adware( I run a scan 2x a day). It seems like it should be alot lower than this.

Manfucaturers usually install a lot of extra software. uninstall any software that you do not need. Next go to the start menu and type in 'msconfig' go to startup and uncheck any software that you don't use. then go to services, check the box that says 'hide all microsoft services' and unchech anything that you don;t need. restart your computer and you should be using a lot less RAM.

classes relax and don't something once you're no longer utilizing them. once you employ them they ought to be woken up further into easy and performed with. it is achieved along with your CPU(suggestions) and reminiscence. The extra classes you have working at as quickly as - the better the utilization is going. you would be unable to do plenty pertaining to to the CPU utilization (except you improve to a sparkling cpu and that's puzzling except you recognize what you're doing) yet as yet another poster reported - reminiscence is amazingly low priced and you will deploy extra. Assuming you do not have already got the max quantity in there. it might supply your laptop a develop. purely FYI - whilst asking laptop questions you may contain stats on your laptop - like what form it truly is, what form of processor, and how plenty reminiscence it has:)
