My pc started freezin a while ago, i tried to approach it as Spyware/virus problem, it wasnt.

Re-installed windows. Same problem the system kept freezin after some time.

Now to diagnose My rams, i get the memtest, they showed normal.
i tried using one stick at a time(i have 2x1Gb) if each alone they worked.
i tried switching each one on a different Slot, they worked.
but if i put them together my pc will freeze.

HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I would suspect the hard drive.

Back a while ago I had a similar problem. When I would have two sticks of RAM in, my computer would BSOD. When I had one the system was completely stable. It didn't matter which stick was in, they both were stable, but when combined it BSOD'd me constantly.

How I fixed it was I bought a new stick of RAM from Newegg.com and now I can use two sticks and its stable, as long as the newly purchased stick of RAM was the the RAM slot A.

The one I bought is a Kingston, the other was some Japanese offbrand. Kingston is good, and they don't necessarily need to be the same manufacturer, just as long as they have similar capabilities.

you need to run memtest OFFLINE (put it on a bootable floppy or cd and boot your pc with it) overnight to properly test your ram , you should get NO errors.

any problems could be due to your motherboard , or unstable psu voltage , bios settings , its hard to trouble shoot at this point , run memtest (the bootable version) see what happens , then come back

its easy to say "get new ram" but if its a mobo problem your wasting cash

To be undemanding i do no longer think of the memory had a undertaking, i think of your motherboard had a undertaking in the 1st place! i choose to propose taking it to a working laptop or computing device fix shop, Or determining to purchase a sparkling computing device in case you have got sufficient money it.
