I only get this error message, blue screen of death style, when I am playing a video game. The game will work fine for about 10-30 mins then freeze up and I get the BSOD with the error about a clock interrupt not being recieved. I have the latest bios for my Mobo (and have tried all other bios versions with the same results). I've got the latest updates/patches for: Windows; the game I'm trying to play (company of heroes); and my GPU. I've tried reinstalling the game, and even reformatting and reinstalling windows on the harddrive. If anyone knows a fix for this I would greatly appreciate alittle help. Thanks!

Heres what I'm working with:

Biostar TF570 SLI motherboard
AMD Dual core X64 6400+ cpu
4 Gb of Kingston RAM
300 Gb WD harddrive
(1) EVGA Nvidia Geforce 8800 GTS (640 Mb)
Windows Vista Home Premium 32 Bit

I've done a quick search and seems it tends to be BIOS related, at least I found a post on another forum where it was due to a BIOS not supporting a CPU, a BIOS update fixed it.

Check all your BIOS settings, maybe try a CLR CMOS and restore to defaults, and see if it helps, if not then you may want to consider flashing an updated BIOS...!!!

Hopefully, this link will give you more information on the problem. Good luck.

Hard to say it can be this and that.

Just wild guess.

The only reason I can think about that system acts like that if it was overclocked.

If this the case you might want to reset you system to safety default.

What else? it could be something related to the video card internal clock as well. The easy way to check if you have extra Video card to check it out.

Cheers, DS
