it's nothing fancy, like a gaming beast, but it has a 3ghz duo core processor!

No offense, this is a horrible gaming computer. NO gaming computer will cost $250 anyway. Here's what's wrong with it:

RAM: Should be at least 4GB

Processor: Pentium? No way. Just because it has 3GHz, that doesn't mean it's all that great

Hard Drive: 80GB? Very small, but not bad for a $250 computer. Try and get over 100GB

Try and get DDR3 Ram if possible.

Remember that this does NOT come with a monitor. You will have to buy that separately. Also remember that this looks like a refurbished computer, meaning it might have some cosmetic faults, as it's been used.

If $250 is your budget, there is no way you're gonna get one. Go for a Dell Inspiron. Or if you have a lot of money, get a Dell alienware. If you can get alienware, though, I envy you. They are way too expensive, as a fully loaded laptop costs around $8000.

Good luck!

CPU is ok, like others have said, get more compatible system memory cause 2gigs really isn't enough memory for most of today's games. According to the write up it has a capacity for a maximum of 4gigs, so I would look into that. Definitely replace the hard drive, you can pick up a nice 320-500 gig hard drive for around $50.00 giving you 4 to 6 times the storage capacity, but you would have to reinstall the operating system and any other applications. Another possible solution would be to just add the new hard drive and use it as a storage drive for your games and try not to install any more than you absolutely have to on the original 80gig drive, leave it strictly for the operating system and another other programs already installed.

Another concern is that it does not list what type of graphics card it is using, so odds say it is some form of onboard graphics adapter that is going to drain video graphics memory from your existing system memory further proving you need more system memory. Check the motherboard for an available PCI-E or AGP (ugh) graphics expansion port, if it has one, you can add a video card with dedicated graphics memory, however, this is a Dell slimline case, so your choices for graphics cards will be somewhat limited due to available space for expansion.

Lastly, if you are interesting in this particular advertisement, make sure you bid in the next 15 hours.

The processor is not bad at games, however new games such as Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 can't be played in high quality without lagging, and the RAM is way too low, increase into 3 GB at lease, the hard drive is too low, it can only storage about 9 games, increase that as well, I don't know about the graphic card, u have to shared what the graphic is. I would suggest not to buy it, the person doesn't even tell all of the spec of the PC, so they have some of the spec(that I think the graphic)to hide, so look for something else.

pentium d sucks....any of the new games you wont even be able to play on low unles you get a kick but vpu (graphics card) and even then you might get away with medium graphics on games ....lets just say not worth the buy....save your money
