Well if you really want a gaming computer just sell this one and buy a Mac Pro. iMacs are not easily upgraded as far as components go. The only thing specifically made to be upgraded is the RAM. That would be the "Memory" in the system profiler. You have 8 GB, which is a fairly high amount already. I'm sure you can buy four 4 GB cards (currently it says 4x2 GB). This would significantly increase the speed. Other than that, you really can't upgrade anything without literally ripping the computer apart.

Here is the apple article on upgrading RAM: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1423

Go to this site to see the cards that are compatible with your mac: http://www.crucial.com/

Position your mouse on "Memory (RAM)" up at the top left and then hit scan my system. I believe you will have to download something but don't worry this is a well trusted source for RAM.

Hope that all helps!

ok i'm not sure you can upgrade an imac.

Honestly I don't own one but I've been looking around and it seems that everything is soldered in and hard to get to.

Also don't get a mac pro for gaming... honestly getting a mac in general for gaming is like getting 2 sticks to light a fire when you can get a flame thrower for cheaper, sure the sticks may work but there are other things way better suited for doing the job.

Macs in general aren't made to game, it CAN but doesn't run things as efficiently as windows. Get a gaming PC. Mac's are good for editing/rendering but not for gaming. I know someone who has almost same specs as me on his mac pro and I can run circles around him cause the operating system isn't made to run games as efficiently.

attempt to apply a appropriate video converter. working example, you ought to use a Miglia television, plug in a video game console, then checklist the video game photos and import it into iMovie (or any obtainable video editor) for further modifying.

Pick one.

I seriously hope you don't do this.
