Ive been working on this all day with the help of many people online and i think its a pretty decent build. im probably going to order it tonight or in the morning so id apreciate it if anyone could look over it and make sure everythings compatible and will work out. also if i should go ahead and add McAfee AntiVirus Plus 2013 for $15 or McAfee Internet Security 2012 for $19.

heres the stock build http://www.cyberpowerpc.com/system/Mega_Special_I/

Constructing your self can rate a lot more. But you get the process you want. The video is set mid high end. You are doing adequate on the cpu. I am no expert at matching video cards to systems, but i do know that the gtx580 is the top finish card $500-600, and also you should make certain your PSU can control some thing video card you decide on (learn the video specs first and add about 80W for stability!). If you are on a funds and can't afford to improve video now, that's nice. Ram: be certain you can still get the same timing and optimistically sort as well. Techniques don't love reminiscence combos. I'd put all of the ram in now. In any other case, you can also become replacing the entire ram later. The 8GB sticks have not come out yet that i've visible. The cooling fan in the boxed cpu sets last a very long time, and so they work pretty well. They are made for the proc. Zalman enthusiasts are also excessive excellent (however large and almost always just a little too heavy) and made for overclocking. The 550Ti requires 400W so you need to use a minimum 550W PSU. With hard drives, optical drives and stuff, try the PSU calculator. By the way, if you're going to tuition, you're most likely now not going to have much time for enjoying video games. (as a minimum you is just not) I spend my time experimenting with what I discovered. I retained what I discovered longer and that i learned more than just doing idle rote (and that i obtained extra excited about what I realized and located new methods to apply it). I think you've got acquired a lot of energy for your method. I've a moderately new 80 plus licensed 550W PSU on a 250W approach. In many instances it makes noise as a result of the low usage I believe (historical approach, much scale back power requirements).

I would upgrade the powersupply to a CX750W unit just in case you ever want to expand your system or SLI. I would drop the McAfee and any virus software options since they're a waste of money and just get the free alternatives Malwarebytes, SuperAntiSpyware, and Combofix to save you from headaches.

That's a bit pricey for what you're getting.

But no way should you get a McAffee. Never let that crap software anywhere near your computer.

There's a dozen better options, half of them free.
