how do i know which version of intel processor i have.?

One of the easy way to do this is

1) Right click my computer

2) go to properties of that the last option

3) on the general tab you can get all the information about how much memory do you have and what make which processor and speed of the processor make

you can try this also

1) when the system starts up before logging on to the windows simaltaneously keep on pressing the TAB key and the PAUSE BREAK key on the right side of your key board as you hit the pause break key the screen will get paused and you can view the information about quantity of RAM,how much processor etc
