I currently use a 20" iMac with 233 GB HD, 512 mb RAM, 128 mb VRAM, and a 2 GHZ intel core duo processor. I plan to upgrade the RAM to 1.5 GB in the near future and (when I purchase Leopard and Vista Home Premium) part 50GB of my HD using bootcamp to Vista. Is this good enough? Thanks, your answers are always appreciated!

YES - windows recommends and supports ONLY vista ultimate for mac (reason ? it is most expensive and they want most money out of it) but premium will do - you will not get any support from microsoft for that though (as said they support and recommend ONLY ultimate for mac - ms treats apple same as just abt any other windows hardware manufacturer so as long as windows is bought legit and you install it on 1 computer only even if that is apple ms is ok with that)

note here also that windows xp runs best and is best supported on mac - reason ? there are much much more xps installed on macs than vistas so all initial bugs and problems have been resolved

YOU HAVE TO UPGRADE BEFORE INSTALLING WINDOWS ON MAC - YOU ARE PRESENTLY WAY LOW ON RAM FOR VISTA - MINIMUM IS 1 Gb RAM - RECOMMENDED 2 GB

Yes, you can run Vista on your mac using bootcamp on Leopard.

As for your spec, I think it is recommended to upgrade your RAM to 2 GB for a better vista experience ( http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=306538 ). But I personally think 1.5 GB should be just fine.

yes...but why would u want to???

vista has too many bug and takes almost 5GB just to be loaded...

stick to XP.. simple,fast.. and its less likely to crash..

need i say more?
